Eligible recipients of rebates

Modern Kitchen

Eligible equipment and appliances

  • Heat pumps for heating and cooling (i.e., Air-source, ground-source)

  • Residential and commercial induction cooking equipment

  • Heat pump water heaters

  • Heat pump clothes dryers

  • Electric panel & wiring upgrades required for installation of new electric equipment

  • All equipment must be ENERGY STAR certified or AHRI CEE North Region Certified.

About HEAR

 

United Hub is currently leading a comprehensive rebate and incentive Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates Program (HEAR) funded by the Washington State Department of Commerce. This initiative focuses on facilitating the adoption of high-efficiency electric equipment among low- and moderate-income (LMI) households and adult family homes across Washington State. Our goals include reducing energy consumption, lowering greenhouse gas emissions, and improving indoor air quality.

For Qualified Contractors

We invite you to apply to become an approved contractor for our rebate programs. By partnering with us, you will have the opportunity to provide essential services to your community while contributing to a more sustainable future. Please ensure you meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the application process.

For Rebate Applicants

If you are a low- or moderate-income household seeking financial assistance for energy-efficient upgrades, we encourage you to apply for our available rebates. This funding is designed to help you reduce energy costs and improve the efficiency of your appliances and systems.

Rebate Amount

Program 1:

The Unite Hub HEAR Program funds 50% of qualified equipment purchase and installation costs for low-income homeowners. Eligibility is limited to residents of Clark, King, Pierce, Thurston and Yamima County with household income below 150% of area median income

Program 2:

The Unite Hub HEAR Program funds 100% of qualified equipment purchase and installation costs for low-income homeowners. Eligibility is limited to residents of Clark, King, Pierce, Thurston and Yamima County with household income below 80% of area median income
